Guar Gum Powder is obtained from guar gum which is also known as guaran. Guar beans consist of the ground endosperm which is known as the guar gum. Guar gum is derived by screening, milling and dehusking the seeds of guar beans. When produced guar gum is an off white, free flowing powder.

From the halves of the endosperm, the husk is separated by the processes of polishing, grinding and heating to obtain the refined guar split. The germ and husk called guar meal is yielded from the split manufacturing process. The guar meal is used as cattle feed and is sold widely in the international market. The guar meal consists of albuminoids and oil and is rich in protein and husk present is 25% and germ is 50%.
